What is the best way to find my clients

Have just started a Commercial Handyman Business, Renos, Painting, Plumbing, Drywall, Repairs etc. Can not afford to pay for advertising at this time, what do you think would be another way to get started and find the Clients?

Get on the phone - call real estate agents see if their clients need some repair done to newly purchased homes or ones that are getting ready to sell. Look for free listings in local newspapers - sometimes they have free service listings.

Instead of calling about newly sold homes call property managers and facility managers of commercial properties.

Why choose commercial? Most want to take 60-90 days to pay you if they pay.

60-90? I feel bad if I keep anything past 30 days. All of our terms are net 30 - but we usually beat that. We request pay apps by the 20th - get to the owner by the 30th and typically we get paid by the 10-15th of the following month which gives us a week to get the payment to the sub.
