The minute you leave a 'first' meeting with a new client, make sure you jot down everyone's names for your records, - - kids, dogs, anybody and everybody. Personalizes you and them at the same time. It's an easy way to separate yourself from the 'pack'. And when they call you back a year later for their next remodel, your still on top of your game!

Yes - I strongly suggest everyone use a good client management software or book that can hold all that information.

Thats what I use my pda for!!! I think being able to remember names is a big plus for us.
