There is a pretty good size CG that builds some really nice houses and does over all very nice work. They are about the size that we would like to someday achieve and have a rep like they have for quality.
Lately we have been getting into higher end work and picking up some really nice work and making a pretty good name for our selves.
I guess the owner of the other company is feeling a bit threatened by our success cause he has been calling the subs that we work with that do work for him in for meetings and asking them questions about us, how many people we have working for us (he thinks we are a lot bigger than we are) and all that stuff. to add to that we have been seeing the owners Landrover showing up in front of all our job sites, sitting for a minute, then leaving when one of us start walking that way.
I personally think its pretty funny, and flattering, to know that little ol us can make a guy with a company that well established nervous.
is this a normal thing? do other companies spy on their competitor like this a lot?
