Wow that's cheap. There was a vacant lot for sale in a suburb where homes are going for 5-700k. I called the realtor to see how much it was going for and it was going for $450. It was less than 1/4 acre.

Then again I have a friend who bought 100 acres in Michigan for $1,000 each.

Well - got a call last night from the people I sent the package to. I'm meeting with their architect the 2nd or 3rd week of March.
Her comment was "Very professionally presented - you make a compelling letter".

Speaking if introduction letters I got a box of 750 full page brochures from a manufacturer and I am sending out 750 lettes of introduction to property managers and condo association board members.

The welcome package will contain the letter, one brochure and my business card and will cost me $0.68 per mailing.

Wow.. that's great... gotta love cheap advertisements. I was thinking about tri-fold brochures the other day. I was thinking of using them just for the intro package and leaving them with real estate agents I do business with.
I haven't found anyone that prints high quality brochures cheap enough though. Overnight prints I guess is starting to do brochure printing - so maybe I'll try them out.

As far as the people posted about above - they raise and train race horses - apparently that is fairly hectic (I have no idea).. they called last week and apologized for not making it over but do plan on getting out.
On another front though - I sent to another possible lead.. I've met with them and just finished their drawings about 10 minutes ago. A fairly simple plan - 1300sf with a 675sf garage. I am the only bidder I would say it was successful. Very nice couple.. with hints of future work.. but I don't get too hopeful on that stuff.

We actually made some folders with our logo and such on it. We have a few different things to put in them. for example, if jeff goes to go see someone about doing an addition, he puts the packet for additions and renovations in the folder with pictures and such. if he is going for a kitchen renovation or bathroom he puts the kitchen/ bath package. we havent used any yet as they are not done, but they will be used soon.
the ideas that i have gotten from here that work well are amazing.
