Default recycle?

something i have started is recycling cardboard. we do alot of kitchen installs and it ends up with alot of cardboard boxes and packaging. so instead of throwing it in the dumpster like usual i decided to take it to the recycler. this proved alot harder than it sounded. it took me a week to find a place to take it and they are picky about what they take.

does any one else recylce in bulk like this? is it worth the extra time and money?

Every Thursday we have the local garbage dump open up.. it's free.. but they are picky as all get out. It is a big pain. If we get one piece of metal in the wrong pile - he gigs us on it. So anyway - by way of necessity we are splitting trash up for recycling.
